The Economic and Fiscal impact of the Fight Against Corruption in Guatemala
The Central American Institute for Fiscal Studies (ICEFI) presented with the support of the Center for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) the study entitled The Economic and Fiscal Impact of the Fight Against Corruption in Guatemala, an Empirical and Documentary Analysis.
ICEFI delves into the phenomenon of corruption from a structural viewpoint. First, because an in depth understanding of the phenomenon is necessary intellectually, as a very delicate premise to attempt to propose solutions. But in addition, because the citizens of the TNCA hope to defeat corruption and impunity, as an indispensable step towards developing an agenda and solving the numerous problems and deprivations that assail them.
